Job Summary
The CA Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all aspects of the organization's financial reporting, auditing, and tax processes. The role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and regulations, as well as the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough audits to verify accuracy of financial records and compliance with tax laws.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to enhance the integrity and transparency of financial operations.
- Provide expert financial advice and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Manage taxation matters, including tax planning, preparation, and filing of returns.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and financial forecasting efforts.
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality performance.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews, ensuring all required documentary evidence is accurate and complete.
Requirements
- Proven experience of 6-10 years in financial reporting, auditing, and taxation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder management and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, ICM, ACCA will be considered only.
- Additional certifications such as CPA or CMA are advantageous.
- Demonstrated history of renewing and upholding high ethical and professional standards.
- Experience working in a real estate company or with developers and construction is required.
