Role Summary
This role is the single-threaded owner of Oraan’s 18,000+ women community. Think CEO of the community universe. You will own WhatsApp group health, member engagement, savings challenges, and revenue impact through community-led upsells, especially gold. This is not a “post and pray” role. This is about building trust, driving conversations, and turning community energy into long-term value for women and for Oraan.
What You’ll Own (And Yes, You’ll Own It End-to-End)
WhatsApp Community Management. Core Focus. ~70% of Time
- Own engagement across all WhatsApp groups. New, old, special interest, revival mode. All of it.
- Design and execute a monthly community content calendar that women actually look forward to.
- Post consistently, including 2–3 times weekly during low-engagement “dead zones” (days 11–25).
- Revive inactive or “dead” groups using structured re-engagement campaigns.
- Coordinate closely with CX to align operational messaging and avoid clutter or overlap.
- Track, analyze, and report weekly group health metrics. Engagement, activity, sentiment, growth.
Savings Challenges & Community Programs
- Design and run savings challenges end-to-end. Ideation to execution to wrap-up.
- Create fun, meaningful monthly activities, prompts, and games that resonate with women.
- Manage incentives and clearly communicate rewards and outcomes.
Financial Literacy & Education
- Plan and execute financial literacy sessions within community groups.
- Create simple, relatable educational content around savings habits and gold investment.
- Translate financial concepts into real-life, women-first conversations.
Upselling, Retention & Growth
- Drive awareness and education of Oraan’s gold product organically within the community.
- Track and report conversion from community members to gold users.
- Identify, collect, and amplify member success stories and UGC.
- Spot power users and community advocates. Nurture them like gold. Pun fully intended.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in community building, community management, or audience engagement.
- Deep empathy and understanding of women’s issues, aspirations, and financial realities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You know how to talk with women.
- Strong creative instincts. You can come up with ideas that spark conversations, not crickets.
- Comfortable owning outcomes, metrics, and accountability.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple groups without losing context.
- Experience with WhatsApp communities, social groups, or digital communities is a big plus.
What Success Looks Like
- High-engagement, healthy WhatsApp groups with consistent participation.
- Savings challenges that women genuinely enjoy and complete.
- Increased trust, retention, and product adoption through community channels.
- A community that feels safe, supportive, and empowering for women.
