Job Overview:

As a Courier Delivery Rider, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our customers. The position requires a dedicated and punctual individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will primarily be working in person, handling a variety of packages, and will be the face of our company in providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Follow predetermined routes and timelines to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Collect payments when necessary.
• Report to the logistics manager about any issues, delays, or incidents.
• Adhere to safety and traffic regulations.
• Communicate with customers to coordinate delivery times and resolve any delivery issues.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

• Must have own bike.
• Proven ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and transport packages.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a customer-oriented environment.
• Basic understanding of GPS and route navigation.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimal experience required (less than 1 year preferred).
• Familiarity with the local area and addresses is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a delivery or courier role preferred but not mandatory.
