Position Summary

We are seeking an Employment Attorney with 3–5 years of experience to join our Omaha office. The ideal candidate is a management-side employment law generalist capable of handling both litigation and counseling matters. This is a foundational role with significant growth potential to build and lead the firm’s employment practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent employers in employment litigation (wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment)
  • Advise corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Draft employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
  • Handle administrative proceedings (EEOC, Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission)
  • Provide internal employment counsel to firm leadership
  • Build and grow the firm’s employment law practice
  • Work closely with partners and develop client relationships
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • 3–5 years of employment law experience (management-side required)
  • Experience with both litigation and counseling work
  • Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing skills
  • Interest in building and leading a practice area
  • Ability to work on-site in Omaha or relocate
Compensation & Growth

Base salary of $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience. Strong upside in a lower cost-of-living market with a clear path to partnership and practice ownership.
