Responsibilities: - Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. - Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. - Develop strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize risk. - Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances. - Support in decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information. - Collaborate with other departments to drive financial performance and clarity. - Manage the finance team and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. - Monitor and manage cash flow, banking, and accounting operations. - Implement and oversee financial IT systems or software updates. Requirements: - Proven experience as a finance manager or in a similar role. - Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns. - Proficient user of finance software and strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel & Power BI - Extensive knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. - Experience in managing a team and overseeing financial operations. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA is highly desirable. - 6-10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting. - In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices. - Familiarity with financial software and databases. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a similar role within a specific industry, like manufacturing or service. - Additional certification such as CFA or CMA. - Demonstrated success in cost reduction strategies. - Experience in dealing with financial institutions and enhancing relationships.
