Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire, terminate, and test conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Carry out cable laying, tray/conduit installation, glanding, and dressing as per standards.
- Install and connect field devices such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, MCPs, hooters, sounders, and control panels.
- Read and interpret fire alarm drawings, loop diagrams, wiring schematics, and scope of work.
- Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing of fire alarm circuits.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and toolbox talks.
- Coordinate with engineers and other trades to avoid clashes and ensure timely completion.
- Identify and report faults, deviations, and safety hazards on site.
Requirements
- Intermediate / Diploma in Electrical or relevant field.
- Knowledge of safety standards and fire alarm techniques.
