Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the food service department, ensuring efficient and high-quality service.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure products are properly stocked.
  • Train, schedule, and supervise food service staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to plan menus and estimate food and beverage costs.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve overall customer experience and service efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other relevant laws.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Food Service Manager or in a similar managerial role within the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or culinary arts is a plus.
  • Certification in food safety or sanitation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position with on-site work setting.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in food service management or a similar field.
