About the Opportunity
We are supporting a holding company that builds and owns tech-enabled services businesses serving SMB and mid-market clients, primarily in North America. The model is not product-led and not freelance-based. Each business is incubated with capital, structure, and hands-on support, and led by a single accountable founder.
This role is suited to experienced operators who want to build, lead, and eventually exit a services business with meaningful long-term ownership.
Role Overview
The Founder will be responsible for building and scaling a tech services business from early stage through maturity. This includes shaping the service offering, leading delivery, supporting pre-sales, hiring and managing teams, and operating with strong financial discipline.
The role begins with a 2–3 month incubation and assessment period, working closely with the holding company’s leadership and venture architect, after which the founder role is confirmed.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a tech-enabled services business with full P&L responsibility
- Own service design, delivery quality, and client satisfaction
- Support pre-sales activities including scoping, pricing, and solutioning
- Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing delivery team
- Operate with strong financial discipline and capital efficiency
- Work closely with the holding company on strategy, governance, and growth planning
- Prepare the business for long-term scalability and potential acquisition
Ideal Background
- 8–12+ years of experience in tech services, consulting, or delivery-led roles
- Strong technical or domain expertise (analytics, automation, RevOps, AI services, etc.)
- Prior experience owning delivery, client relationships, or business units
- Exposure to international clients (North America exposure is beneficial but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated judgment around pricing, margins, and cost control
- Comfortable being hands-on and accountable in an early-stage environment

- Values long-term equity creation over short-term compensation maximization
- Is not seeking a freelance, side-hustle, or purely advisory role
Compensation & Ownership
- Monthly compensation: USD 2,000–3,500 (based on experience and role scope)
- Equity: 15–30%
- Additional equity potential tied to performance milestones
- 10% ESOP pool reserved for key future hires
Investment & Support
- Initial investment per venture: USD 40k–70k
- Hands-on support from a venture architect and central leadership
- Structured incubation, governance, and scaling support
- Clear focus on building acquisition-ready businesses
