Role Overview

The Catalyst Group is hiring a Head of Supply Chain for its client, Rina's Hospitality Group. The Supply Chain Head is responsible for building, managing, and optimising the end-to-end supply chain ecosystem across all brands under Rina’s Hospitality Group, including Rina’s Kitchenette, XO – Chinese Chips, Keprek, and future concepts. This role ensures cost control, operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply reliability across centralised production units and restaurant locations. The position will lead procurement, stores, central prep, bakery coordination, vendor management, and distribution systems while implementing strong controls to eliminate wastage, pilferage, and operational leakages.

  • Reduce food cost variance and operational leakage
  • Build scalable systems for multi-city expansion and franchising
  • Standardise procurement and inventory controls
  • Improve forecasting and demand planning
  • Professionalise supply chain governance
Core Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Lead centralised procurement across all brands
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and credit terms with vendors
  • Develop approved vendor lists and sourcing standards
  • Identify alternate suppliers to mitigate supply risk
  • Maintain quality and consistency benchmarks
2. Inventory & Store Operations
  • Oversee central store and branch inventory systems
  • Implement stock control procedures and audit mechanisms
  • Reduce pilferage, overconsumption, and undocumented usage
  • Standardise GRN, issuance, and stock reconciliation processes
  • Monitor stock ageing and wastage
3. Central Kitchen & Production Coordination
  • Coordinate demand planning with Prep, Bakery, and Production Heads
  • Align production quantities with sales forecasts
4. Distribution & Logistics
  • Design efficient dispatch and delivery schedules
  • Manage inter-branch transfers and logistics planning
  • Improve last-mile supply reliability
  • Optimise transportation costs and routing
5. Cost Control & Reporting
  • Track food cost trends and variance analysis
  • Create weekly supply chain performance dashboards
  • Monitor purchase price variance (PPV)
  • Coordinate closely with Finance for cost transparency
6. Systems & Process Development
  • Implement SOPs across procurement, stores, and dispatch
  • Introduce digital inventory and maintenance tracking systems
  • Build scalable processes for franchising expansion
  • Establish audit-ready documentation standards
7. Team Leadership
  • Directly oversee:
  • HOD Procurement Department
  • HOD Central Store Operations
  • HOD Prep Department
  • HOD Bakery Supply Coordination
  • HOD Maintenance Dept
  • Train and develop department managers
  • Build accountability through KPIs and performance tracking

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations
  • Experience in multi-unit F&B, retail, or manufacturing preferred
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Data-driven decision-making ability
  • Experience implementing inventory or ERP systems preferred
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
