Responsibilities:

• Create detailed drawings and plans for construction projects using Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) standards.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Modify and update designs according to feedback and instructions from senior project team members.
• Interpret and apply project documentation in the preparation of drawings.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documents.
• Ensure that all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to design challenges.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to verify existing conditions and incorporate them into design documents.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a draftsman, with a focus on IFC standards.
• Strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Excellent understanding of construction documents and principles.
• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in drawings.
• Good communication skills for liaising with project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience working as a draftsman in a construction or engineering setting.
• Certification or diploma in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related technical field is required.
• Familiarity with building regulations and industry practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints.
