Job Overview

We are looking to hire a talented ITS expert to develop, manage, and contribute to the R&D section under the scope of ITS hardware within our company’s product portfolio. In this role, you will be required to design, implement, and carry out in-depth research on ITS hardware deployed on roads and motorways.

Your efforts will result in making key decisions to bring changes in the technologies currently in use or planned for deployment on roads and motorways. You must also be familiar with various international and national ITS standards.

Position Description

• Must be able to understand the requirements raised in field Intelligent Traffic and Transportation Systems.
• Must be able to prepare BOQs and deployment designs for the required systems.
• Must be able to defend the designs and get them approved by consultants and customers.
• You must be familiar with technologies, their deployment pre- and post-requisites, as well as their maintenance procedures.
• Take the lead to tune, optimize, and utilize currently deployed systems to the best of their ability and potential.
• Maintain a knowledge base related to the above-mentioned systems for currently deployed as well as planned future hardware.

• Advanced Video Analytic Systems in the field of Traffic and Transportation
• Real-time Vehicle Location Systems
• Traffic Signal Control Systems
• Ramp Metering Systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, or a relevant field of study
• Minimum 5 years of planning and design experience related to the above-mentioned systems
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in delivery and execution of projects of a similar nature
