As a Key Accounts & Sales Manager
You’ll play a dual role – managing top-tier client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities. You’ll be responsible for client retention, upselling Smartlane’s suite of services, and driving new partnerships with e-commerce businesses across Pakistan.
What You’ll Be Doing
Key Account Management:
- Own and grow relationships with key clients, acting as their strategic partner and day-to-day contact.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, track delivery success, return rates, COD settlements, and address any escalations.
- Identify client pain points and match them with relevant Smartlane products (Smart Delivery, Smart Settlements, Smart Finance).
- Work cross-functionally with operations, tech, and finance teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Drive upsell and cross-sell initiatives based on usage trends and business needs.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and reach out to potential e-commerce brands, aggregators, and logistics partners.
- Pitch Smartlane’s value proposition with a consultative approach – understanding client needs and recommending tailored solutions.
- Prepare proposals, close deals, and onboard new clients in collaboration with the operations team.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline, track progress in CRM tools, and meet monthly sales targets.
- Represent Smartlane at industry events, expos, and online communities to build brand presence and generate leads.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in a hybrid account management and B2B sales role (experience in logistics, fintech, digital agency, or SaaS is a plus).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work with CRM systems and analyze dashboards.
- Self-starter who can manage multiple accounts and prospects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and COD models is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a bonus.
