Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Product Designer to lead our design team and drive the creation of innovative and user-centric product solutions. As a key member of our product development team, you will oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that our products meet strategic business objectives and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a creative and collaborative environment.
• Develop and execute design strategies that align with product goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Oversee the design process to ensure high standards of design quality and consistency.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts.
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance and refine design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to ensure products remain competitive and innovative.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion of design projects.
• Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders and team members.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in product design with a proven track record of managing design teams.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful product design projects.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing design talent.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to inform design decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to various audiences.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of design processes and methodologies.
• Experience leading design projects from concept through to execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
