Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
Conduct user research and analyze data to inform design decisions and optimize user engagement.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that align with product requirements and objectives.
Maintain and evolve the company’s design system and establish guidelines for consistency in user experience.
Oversee the entire design lifecycle, from conceptualization to final implementation and feedback incorporation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a product designer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions and comprehensive understanding of user-centered design processes.
Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate design concepts and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Ability to think strategically while possessing acute attention to detail in execution.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant software.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex design challenges and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
Strong understanding of usability and accessibility standards.
Experience with user testing methodologies and analytics tools.
Leadership skills with experience in managing, motivating, and mentoring design teams.
Knowledge of current design trends and best practices in digital product design.
Preferred:
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Understanding of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
