Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of product designers to create innovative, user-centric designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and marketers, to drive the overall design vision.
• Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and quality across all products.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and supporting their professional growth.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies to incorporate them into the design process.
• Ensure that all designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
• Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders for approval and feedback.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in product design with a proven track record of leading design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in design and creative problem-solving.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Experience in managing and developing a design team.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and the ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• Critical thinker with an eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for design quality and user experience throughout the product development lifecycle.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in designing for a variety of platforms (web, iOS, Android).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
