Job Description

As a Manager Product Designer, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the design team to create innovative and user-centric products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure a cohesive and effective design process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, providing guidance and feedback to support their professional growth.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define project requirements, goals, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain design systems and ensure consistency across all product designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Translate user needs and business goals into impactful design solutions.
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitate design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay current with design trends and industry best practices to keep our products competitive.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in product design, with a track record of leading design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design and a deep understanding of design principles.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring design teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile or iterative development environment is advantageous.
• Any additional design certifications would be beneficial.
