Qualifications & Skills

• Motion Graphics Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects (including plugins like Newton, Joysticks 'n Sliders, or Duik), Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• 2D Animation Specialist: Strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation, with a focus on timing, easing, and professional motion curves.
• SaaS/UI Animation: Experience animating software interfaces, cursor movements, and data visualizations.
• Graphic Design (Preferred): Strong foundational skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and prep your own assets for animation.
• 3D Animation (Preferred): Proficiency in Blender or Cinema 4D is highly desirable for creating 3D product mockups, abstract backgrounds, or depth-based transitions.
• Modern Workflow: Familiarity with tools like Figma (for asset export) and Jitter.video or Lottie for web-based animations.
• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (such as Midjourney, Runway, or AI-driven After Effects plugins) to rapidly generate assets, brainstorm visual concepts, and accelerate the animation production pipeline.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in motion graphics or 2D animation, preferably within a tech, healthcare, or SaaS environment.
• A strong portfolio or reel showcasing your ability to animate software products and complex data in a clean, modern style.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative environment where rapid prototyping is valued.
