The Catalyst Group is hiring a People & Operations Lead on behalf of its client, a leading, fast-growing women’s fitness and wellness company.

Our client is on a mission to build the fittest community of women, combining fitness, education, and experience into a high-growth, community-driven ecosystem. With rapid expansion underway, they are looking for someone to own and scale their people function.

Role Overview

This is a high-ownership, non-traditional HR role focused on building and managing the full people lifecycle — with a strong emphasis on performance, learning, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end talent lifecycle (hiring → onboarding → performance → growth)
  • Build and manage performance tracking systems (revenue, retention, feedback, etc.)
  • Lead learning & development initiatives, especially for instructor growth
  • Oversee hiring across studio, operations, and head office roles
  • Drive data-backed people decisions
  • Manage employee relations, culture, and team dynamics
  • Build scalable systems for hiring, performance, and development
Ideal Candidate
  • 4–7 years of experience in HR, Talent, or People-heavy operations roles
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Comfortable with data, metrics, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in high-growth or startup environments preferred
  • Strong alignment with health, wellness, and women’s fitness
