Job Overview

Fulcrum is hiring a PR & Marketing Manager for its client operating in the electrical power engineering and industrial solutions sector. The role requires a technically aware marketing professional who can manage public relations, build industry credibility, and translate complex engineering solutions into clear, compelling marketing and communication assets.

The position focuses on brand reputation, technical content marketing, lead generation, and relationship-based marketing within B2B and industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities
Public Relations & Brand Management
  • Develop and manage relationships with industry-specific media, journals, and publications (e.g., engineering, power, energy, and business platforms).
  • Support thought leadership initiatives by coordinating with senior engineers to develop white papers, technical articles, and professional LinkedIn content.
  • Identify and manage industry awards, certifications, and recognition opportunities to enhance brand credibility and visibility.
  • Ensure consistent and professional brand representation across all public channels.
Technical Marketing & Content Development
  • Develop technical case studies by working closely with project managers and engineering teams for industrial and commercial projects.
  • Manage and update digital platforms (company website and LinkedIn), ensuring technical accuracy, SEO optimization, and AI-search visibility.
  • Plan and execute B2B lead generation campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, and technical briefings targeting engineers, consultants, developers, and architects.
  • Create sales enablement materials such as brochures, pitch decks, technical datasheets, and proposal support documents.
Relationship Building & Events
  • Manage participation in engineering, industrial, and power-sector exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Organize and deliver technical seminars and solution presentations for key clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Coordinate joint marketing initiatives with OEMs, suppliers, and technology partners.
  • Engage with high-value clients, arrange meetings, attend networking events, and represent the organization professionally.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • Candidates with a background in Electrical Engineering combined with marketing experience will be preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of B2B marketing or PR experience, preferably within AEC, energy, power, industrial, or engineering sectors.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, power engineering concepts, automation, or related industrial solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools (Mailchimp or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report marketing ROI.
  • High level of professional communication, presentation, and networking skills.
