Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee the development and publication of eBooks from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with authors, editors, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Manage and track the project's budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Liaise between the editorial and production teams to streamline the e-book publishing process.
- Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
- Manage project deliverables within the agreed timeline and budget.
- Organize and lead project status meetings, issue tracking, and resolution management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in digital publishing.
- Assist in the marketing and distribution strategy for eBooks, collaborating with the marketing team.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in publishing or digital content.
- Familiarity with eBook formats such as EPUB, MOBI, and PDF.
- Experience using project management tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana.
- Strong understanding of digital publishing processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site and manage in-person team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, Agile, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability to lead diverse teams.
- Ability to deal with high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
