Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of QA processes, procedures, and policies.
• Participate in the planning and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality during the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on quality metrics to identify issues and areas for improvement.
• Review requirements specifications to ensure clarity and completeness.
• Support the QA team in executing manual and automated tests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methods.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with basic programming concepts and coding is a plus.
• Understanding of databases and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Experience with issue tracking and test management tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools is beneficial but not required.
• Passionate about quality and keen on pursuing a career in quality assurance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred:

• Previous internship or project experience in a QA role, though not required.
• Participation in any coding boot camps or relevant workshops can be an asset.
• Certification in quality assurance or related areas is advantageous.
