Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Site Supervisor Finishing to oversee the final stages of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision of all finishing activities on-site, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and within established timelines. The Site Supervisor will collaborate closely with subcontractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily site operations for finishing work, including painting, flooring, and fixtures installation.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that all finishing tasks are executed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect work performed by contractors and address any quality issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets, taking corrective actions as necessary to maintain project schedules.
- Work closely with project managers to provide updates on work progress, challenges, and potential delays.
- Implement safety protocols on-site and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project expectations and progress updates to teams and stakeholders.
- Resolve any on-site issues that impede project progress or quality.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and records of project progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in site supervision, specifically focused on finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of construction finishing processes and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Certification or training in construction safety management is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other construction management software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various site locations as needed.
