Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression testing and ensure software quality before release.
• Work closely with the development team for testing and debugging enhancements or changes.
• Participate in design and status meetings to provide insights on quality and potential issues.
• Assist in the maintenance and development of test automation scripts.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics on testing activities and outcomes.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and testing tools.
• Basic understanding of different operating systems and databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Less than 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or a related field (internships or projects are acceptable).
• Familiarity with any programming or scripting languages is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work on-site with flexible timing as required.
• Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
