Responsibilities:

• Create detailed structural drawings and blueprints using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Convert designs into technical drawings, ensuring that they meet industry standards and regulations.
• Review design sketches, notes, and specifications received from architects and engineers.
• Make revisions to plans based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of designs, drawings, and other related technical documentation.
• Assist in preparing estimates and documentation for project proposals.
• Liaise with construction teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately on-site.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of proven experience in structural drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineering and construction teams.
• Ability to work on-site as required by project needs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to project changes.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in AutoCAD or similar drafting software is an advantage.
• Experience working on a variety of construction projects, such as residential, commercial, or industrial.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software is a plus.
