- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, operating systems, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, resolving issues proactively.
- Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of servers, chassis, and storage.
- Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of VMware, Huawei, and H3C virtualization platforms.
- Understanding and experience with FC SAN Switches.
- Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure stability and security.
- Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, H3C, OpenStack).
- Complete understanding of storage devices and protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS).
Skills:
- Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Enterprise servers and storage systems (NetApp, Dell, Huawei).
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, H3C, OpenStack).
- FC SAN Switches (Zoning).
- Backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Veritas).
- System monitoring, patch management, and troubleshooting.
- Network fundamentals and firewall/VPN configuration.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., VMware Certified Professional).
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management (or as required by department level).
