Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, understands current video trends, and can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, YouTube, ads, or internal use
• Add music, sound effects, transitions, and motion graphics
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to meet project goals
• Ensure consistency in style, branding, and tone across all videos
• Optimize videos for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a creative video editor (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
• Basic understanding of color grading and audio editing
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with motion graphics and animations
• Knowledge of social media trends and formats
• Experience with short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
• Basic graphic design skills

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate per project basis (based on experience)
