Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat customers promptly.
• Present menus and provide detailed information when asked about menu items, ingredients, and pricing.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization.
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a professional manner.
• Handle billing procedures and issue receipts.
• Attend to the additional needs of customers, ensuring an excellent dining experience.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Keep the dining area clean and presentable at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for efficient operation and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the rest of the team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in a second language is advantageous but not necessary.
• Certification in food safety or similar would be beneficial though not required.
• Must be legal age to serve alcoholic beverages, if applicable.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift trays of food or beverages.
• Physical stamina to carry out tasks in a busy setting.
