Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and attentive waiter to provide excellent dining experiences to our guests. You will play a vital role in ensuring that guests receive prompt and courteous service, making their dining experience enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they enter the dining area and present them with the menu.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using memorization or a POS system.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all requests are catered to efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional manner with high levels of customer service.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any issues if needed.
• Process payments using cash registers or credit card machines.
• Clear and clean tables in a timely manner to prepare for the next set of guests.
• Assist in setting up or rearranging furniture for larger groups or special events when necessary.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth daily operation.

Requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in person and for full-time shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and carrying heavy trays.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in food safety or handling is a plus.
• Demonstrable knowledge of food and beverage service.
• Friendly, personable, and with a genuine interest in helping others.
