Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort customers to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked about menu items, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age, if necessary.
- Attend to additional customer needs and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Prepare bills and process payments.
- Set up, clean, and maintain assigned tables and dining areas.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a waiter or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Attention to detail and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic math and computer skills for handling payments.
- Training or experience in food hygiene and safety standards is a plus.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
