Assist in the preparation of construction documents, detailing specifications, and materials analysis.
Review and understand building codes and incorporate them into design and planning.
Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
Provide technical support during the construction phase to address design-related issues.
Conduct site visits as necessary to ensure the accuracy of architectural plans with actual site conditions.
Requirements
Proven experience (3-5 years) in architectural design or drafting on commercial or residential projects.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design programs.
Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience with BIM software and 3D modeling is advantageous.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field preferred.
Professional certification or licensure as an architect or in drafting is a plus.
Portfolio demonstrating previous design work and drafting projects.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technology, and best practices in design and drafting.
