Job Summary:
The HR Associate will support the Human Resources department in various HR-related tasks. This role involves participating in the recruitment process, assisting with employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing support in employee programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
- Coordinate and assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support employee benefits administration and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits and HR policies.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and corporate events.
- Help in the preparation of payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
- Address employee queries about HR-related issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in HR projects and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (1-2 years) as an HR Associate, HR Assistant, or similar role.
- Experience with HR software and HRIS systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant HR certification is a plus (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
