Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients across tobacco, sugarcane, and other agriculture value chains.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
Develop and execute client acquisition strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
Represent the GIS unit at industry events and conferences to generate leads and partnerships.
Identify opportunities for upselling within existing client accounts.
Negotiate and close deals with clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and delivered.
Job Specifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, agriculture, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of experience in business development and client acquisition, preferably in agri-tech, GIS, or B2B technology services.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel frequently for client engagement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
