Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients across tobacco, sugarcane, and other agriculture value chains.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
  • Develop and execute client acquisition strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Represent the GIS unit at industry events and conferences to generate leads and partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling within existing client accounts.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met and delivered.
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in business development and client acquisition, preferably in Agri-tech, GIS, or B2B technology services.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
