Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet the required standards and specifications.
• Review architectural plans to ensure compatibility with MEP designs.
• Prepare and revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
• Coordinate with site teams to address any design issues during construction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations in MEP design.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, details, specific project documentation, and specifications.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date library of MEP designs and documents.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel as needed.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in MEP drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• Certification in CAD software is a plus.
• Familiarity with BIM software is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
