A Dubai-based company is looking for an experienced Full-Stack PHP & WordPress Developer to join our growing team. Experience in Shopify & WordPress with Bootstrap responsive frameworks on the front-end is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves the development and support of dynamic PHP/MySQL, Shopify API, and WordPress-based websites. Strong expertise in creating custom front-end and back-end development and WordPress themes development is required.

Qualified candidates need to demonstrate skill and comfort in PHP, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS coding through past work. Ideal candidates have a portfolio and significant professional development experience.

As a Web Applications Programmer, your main responsibility is the production, modification, and maintenance of websites and web applications.

You’ll write server-side code to develop complex, interactive, and database-driven websites. Most of the time you’ll be working with PHP or other Web Application Frameworks for PHP including Shopify & WordPress.

Required Skill Sets

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Shopify and WordPress.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including Bootstrap, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, React, and HTML5.
• Familiarity with both Object-Oriented and Functional programming.
• Previous experience creating scalable applications.
• Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Deep knowledge of WordPress & WooCommerce architecture.
• 2+ years experience in WordPress Theme, Plugin & Widget Development.
• 2+ proven commercial PHP development experience with OOP.
• Familiarity with any other language or framework is considered a plus.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript: AJAX, REST API is preferable.
