Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and scale our AWS-based infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering to design, automate, and operate secure, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environments that power our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, Lambda, VPC)
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for backend and frontend services (e.g., CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, or similar)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, or similar)
• Improve reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency across dev, staging, and production environments
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting production issues
• Implement and enforce security best practices on AWS (IAM, security groups, network design, backups, encryption)
• Contribute to and refine DevOps/SRE processes, including incident response, on-call, and post-incident reviews

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps/SRE roles with a strong focus on AWS
• Solid experience designing and operating AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, networking, load balancers, etc.)
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling and workflows (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
• Good grasp of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and shell scripting
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks (CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, least privilege, secrets management)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working closely with engineering teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a fast-paced product or SaaS environment
• Exposure to SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets) and incident management
• Experience optimizing AWS cost and performance at scale
