Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented SQA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our .NET-based application. You will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, validating end-to-end workflows, and working closely with developers to deliver a stable, bug-free product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and regression cycles
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing on desktop and web modules
• Validate database integrity using SQL queries (MS SQL Server)
• Conduct API testing using Postman for .NET (ASP.NET / Web API) endpoints
• Test integrations with hardware peripherals (barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, card readers)
• Validate payment workflows, tax calculations, inventory, and reporting modules
• Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps
• Support UAT, release testing, and post-deployment smoke testing
• Collaborate with developers and product managers in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of hands-on QA experience
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Proficient in SQL (MS SQL Server)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman / Swagger)
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Good to Have

• Experience with automation tools (Selenium, SpecFlow, WinAppDriver)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of payment gateway testing and PCI-DSS basics
• ISTQB certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
