Job Summary

The Zonal Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations, driving sales growth, and leading a team within a designated zone. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple locations while maintaining a strong customer focus. The successful candidate will report to senior management and play a pivotal role in regional business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence within the zone.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure consistent service delivery across all locations in the zone.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales and operations staff to maximize performance and foster career development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Monitor financial performance, preparing and managing budgets to meet financial objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business strategies and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a multi-location business.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and strong business acumen.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Experience in the relevant industry sector is an advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting.
Work Environment
  • Hybrid work setting, with the flexibility to work remotely and on-site as required.
  • Willingness to travel within the zone to manage and oversee multiple locations effectively.
