Habib Aziz Farms (Pvt) Ltd, a halal meat exporter, is looking for an experienced Senior Nutritionist to lead our animal nutrition programme across feedlot fattening and rearing.
Key responsibilities
- Design, review and optimise rations and feeding programmes for rearing and feedlot fattening, focused on weight gain, animal health and carcass quality
- Monitor animal performance and adjust feeding plans to hit growth and feed conversion targets
- Manage feed quality, ingredient sourcing and overall feed cost
- Keep feeding costs under control without compromising performance
- Work closely with the veterinary, production and quality teams
- Make sure feeding practices meet halal and export-market standards
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Sciences or a related field, or a DVM
- PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience in livestock nutrition, preferably ruminants
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in feedlot fattening
- Experience in rearing programmes
- Strong knowledge of ration formulation and feed analysis
- Experience in export-oriented or halal meat production is an advantage
