Role Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive to build and manage the sales pipeline for Edversity's Corporate Training division. The role owns the front end of the sales process: identifying target companies, reaching senior decision-makers, securing qualified meetings for the CEO, preparing proposals and presentations, and managing every opportunity in the CRM through to close. The Business Development Executive works directly with the CEO and is the first hire in this division.
Key Responsibilities

- Decision-maker mapping: Identify owners, CEOs, CFOs, COOs and heads of sales, finance, HR and operations at each target account.
- Account research: Profile each company before outreach, including business model, headcount, recent developments and likely operational pain points.
Outreach & Meeting Generation
- Outbound campaigns: Run structured outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone and WhatsApp using approved messaging.
- Referral and alumni network: Use Edversity's alumni base and business network to secure warm introductions to decision-makers.
- Meeting booking: Schedule qualified first meetings for the CEO with senior decision-makers; confirm, reschedule and follow up to ensure meetings take place.
- Targets: Achieve monthly targets for qualified meetings booked and held.
Sales Enablement & Proposals
- Meeting preparation: Prepare a pre-meeting brief for every client meeting covering company profile, attendees, objectives and relevant case studies.
- Presentations and proposals: Develop client-specific decks, proposals and quotations to a professional standard, tailored to each company's industry and needs.
- Follow-up: Send follow-up correspondence within 24 hours of every meeting and track proposals through to decision.
- Sales collateral: Maintain the corporate sales deck, case studies, client testimonials and proposal templates.
Pipeline & CRM Management
- CRM discipline: Record every lead, contact, activity and opportunity in the CRM (GoHighLevel) with accurate stage and next action.
- Reporting: Prepare a weekly pipeline report for the CEO covering new leads, meetings booked, proposals sent, and deals won and lost.
- Forecasting: Maintain an accurate view of expected closures and revenue for the coming month and quarter.
Client Coordination & Market Presence
- Handover: Coordinate with the training delivery team on client requirements and scheduling once a contract is signed.
- Account growth: Collect client feedback and testimonials after each engagement and identify upsell and repeat opportunities.
- Events and networking: Represent Edversity at chambers of commerce, business forums and industry events to generate leads and build the company's corporate profile.
Qualifications & Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development or key account management, selling to companies rather than individual consumers. Relevant backgrounds include software houses, IT services, insurance, telecom corporate sales, recruitment, advertising, events or professional services.
- Proven track record of generating leads and booking meetings with senior decision-makers (owner, CFO, COO or functional head level).
- Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, GoHighLevel or similar) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Google Slides or Canva for building professional client presentations.
- Active daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) for research and drafting.
- Experience selling training, consulting, SaaS or other intangible services is a plus.
- An existing network among business owners and senior managers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi or Lahore is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Islamabad and travel to client offices as required.

- Comfortable working to activity targets and weekly reporting
- Confident, professional and persistent in dealing with senior executives
- Commercial awareness and understanding of how mid-size Pakistani businesses operate

- Self-starter able to work independently in a newly established division
What We Offer
